The Lord has promised in Joel: 2:25 - “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. (NKJV)
With everything going on in the world today, I definitely need a promise like this. The delays, the missed opportunities and distractions - all tactics the devil uses to create dissatisfaction, anger and depression - will not prevent us from living in the fullness of God's purpose for us. And this, no matter how chaotic things seem.
I believe this promise wholeheartedly, because the Oath Maker is God. THE I AM THAT I AM described in Psalm 93:1 - The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed in majesty and armed with strength; indeed, the world is established, firm and secure.
That majestic God will not fail us. He said He will restore? Then let's take our eyes off the things that give us concern and give our attention solely to Him. HE IS GOD. Majestic. Strong. And, the world HE created is firm and secure.
Our God will bless each and every one of us who turn down the dial on the world and tune into His Holy frequency. His restoration will leave us feeling like the Psalmist who said in Psalm 126:1 - ...When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed.
Yes, when restoration occurs, it will be like a dream. Let's get ready for it by taking an hour to Praise & Pray today. Oh, and you are free to praise and pray intermittently through out the rest of the day and week as well.
Use King Jehoshaphat as a guide today and always. He and the people in Jerusalem were all that was left as enemies had carted off other Jews. And yet, an enemy consisting of three armies was approaching to finish the job and cart off the remnant.
King Jehoshaphat and the people cried out to God who told them to get dressed and go meet the enemy. Their army went with songs of worship on their lips and what did they eventually find? Their enemy - a greet army of three nations - was completely destroyed. Miraculously killed by God. The Jews spent the next 3 days plundering - they'd been restored!
God will restore us as we lift our voices in worship to Him. Trust Him.
I'll see you at Noon EST. God bless you and yours!
