He Has Chosen You - Tuesday Praise & Pray (for others) February 9, 2021

Do you ever feel like God loves others but not you? Have you ever felt abandoned by Him? Today, the Lord wants us all to remember that he has not rejected us. He says so in Isaiah 41:9 - I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.

What a great promise from our God! The words above were said to a sinful nation. If He didn't reject them then, why do you think He'd reject you now? How amazing that His love for us will never fail and it spans generations if you love and obey Him! (Deuteronomy 7:9).

Okay, you're thinking you've sinned too much. You're not the type of person God would ever embrace. Is that it?

I guarantee you that those sentiments are a lie from the devil, sent to discourage you from having a beautiful relationship with the God who created you, loves you to bits, and wants you to love Him too. John 8:44 warns that the devil "was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."

Why listen to the enemy of your soul?

Jeremiah 31:37 tells us that God will never forsake His children not even "because of all they have done." You are one of those children and no matter what you think you've done, God is waiting with arms wide open to hug you and start fighting for you. Listen to what Jesus said in Mark 2:17 - On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

All you have to do is acknowledge you need him, repent of your sins and begin a faithful walk with Him where you reject (and no longer repeat) the sins of your past. He will handle all things in your favor and though you'll have to apply a lot of patience, He has promised to never leave nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

I hope you will seriously reconsider whatever doubts you have in God and that you will take a step toward submitting your life to Him. He has great plans for you and when you walk with Him, you will see those plans fulfilled. John 15:9 - As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.

Come with worship song recommendations, a heart that remembers the good God has done, names of people or places you want God to bless, and a willing heart to serve the Lord.
