God Still 'Owns' 2020 - Tuesday Praise & Pray (for others) March 24, 2020

Hello ladies and gents.

What if I told you 2020 is a year of great blessings and favor? A year when your life will experience a 180° transformation?

You'd tell me I'm nuts and need to watch the news.

But, what if the devil knew what an amazing year was in store for you and everyone else and so decided it needed to play catch up and throw a wrecking ball through the world to keep the people scared and uncertain? What if the period you are in is simply a blindfold to keep your eyes off the promises God made to you?

Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you." declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ​

If your head is bowed, you won't see the light at the end of the tunnel. Instead, you'll be afraid and your fear will glorify the devil. It will feed its very narcissistic ego and encourage it to seek even more.

Now, what if you chose to praise God instead? Yes, right in the midst of what looks like an unending abyss. If you choose to thank God for that which you have, no matter how small it may seem, all of a sudden, you'd take your focus off the darkness and plant it firmly on the light. And that light will grow bigger, expanding to eclipse the darkness - the pain, the fear, the doubt, the worry. You'd end up with peace of mind and come to a place of rest in God that challenges everything the enemy throws your way.

Come take a first step toward that great place of comfort in God by joining in this week's Praise and Pray. At 12 noon EST, we shall take some time to enter into the house of the Lord and find the peace we need in times of trouble.
