Don't trivialize God - Tuesday Praise & Pray (for others) September 8, 2020

I recently read the Book of Hosea and like many other prophets in the Bible, he warned God's children of the consequences of turning away from the Lord. In Hosea's time, so many of the Jews had turned to the gods of neighboring nations. They worshiped all sorts of items made by human hands and did unimaginable things.

God lamented saying in Hosea 13:6 - When I fed them, they were satisfied; when they were satisfied, they became proud; then they forgot me.

How many of us fall into this category? Have we forgotten God and His significance in our lives? We get so busy on a daily basis that it is very easy to relegate God to a Sunday-activity when in fact, we are to camp with God everyday and appreciate Him always.

Let us turn back to God. He is our Maker. It is never too late to repent of our sins and make things right with Him. Today is a great day to do just that so join us for Praise & Pray and reconnect with God in an intentional and meaningful way. Let us glorify Him and obey Him by interceding for others in prayer. Doing so will bring the Lords forgiveness and favor upon our lives.

In a world where so much is going wrong, we can't afford to fall outside His grace. Let's reconcile with the Father by submitting praise and prayer for others at His feet today.
