Your Sin Isn't Better - Friday Praise & Pray (for others) December 5, 2025

We live in a world where many churches teach that Christians don't experience trials and troubles. Such incomplete instruction can create the impression that bad things only happen to bad people. Or that it is only non-Christians who experience bad things. However, Jesus never taught this, and if we harbor any such thinking, it is time to let it go.

In Luke 13, Jesus discussed a tragedy that happened to a group of Galileans who died at the hands of Pilate. Luke 13:2-3 - Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? /I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.

Here, Jesus warned the listeners not to think that the dead Galileans were worse sinners who deserved the disaster they'd experienced. He pointed out that they were Jews and the children of…

No matter how blemished we are, Jesus died on the cross to erase every sin and wash us clean over and over again.

We take advantage of that great gift by acknowledging His sacrifice, proclaiming Him our Savior, and praying in His name for forgiveness of our sins

Now is your opportunity to do just that and get baptized in the Spirit (John 3:5).

So if your heart is open, plus if, as in Psalm 42:2, your soul thirsts for God and you want to appear in His presence, why don't you say the following prayer?

Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I confess my sins right now to you. And I believe that you are the Son of God. I believe that you came, you died, you rose again, and you paid the price for my sins. Today, I accept the new life, today, I accept the Holy Spirit. Come dwell in me, make Your home in me. I will never be the same again. In Jesus's Name, Amen.

Praise God and welcome to the household of the Lord. For you have to have Jesus in you in order to have God the Father (John 14:6).

Please let the Lord transform you. He loves you as you are and welcomes you just that way, but He will change you. I'd be doing you a disservice if I didn't let you know. My recommendation is that you let Him have His way and bow to the changes He will bring your way.

The Lamp, The Light, And You - Tuesday Praise & Pray (for others) December 2, 2025

Revelation 21:23 - The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

This verse provides a wonderful description of the relationship between the Lord and His Son. While on earth, Jesus put God on display, consistently doing and saying things that reminded people of the Lord's greatness in an intimate way. He was the lamp that shone the light of God into the darkness of the world.

All the prophets before Him had done much of the same. Remember how Elijah healed Naaman of leprosy? The Syrian war commander was humbled and healed of his pride and stubbornness. He was so changed by God's healing mercy that he committed his life to God on the spot. He'd seen the light of the Lord.

The apostles and other servants who spread the gospel also did the…

Be Someone People Will Support - Friday Praise & Pray (for others) November 28, 2025

The stories of the Centurion and Dorcas teach us a lot about the type of Christians we are to be. And if we apply the lessons conveyed, the Lord is sure to do much more than could have even imagined or asked for. He will certainly exceed expectations.

The Centurion had a servant who needed healing from Jesus. And so, he sent some Jewish elders to speak to Jesus on his behalf and they insisted the Savior go and heal the servant. Their basis was that the Centurion had built a synagogue for the Jews and was therefore deserving of the miraculous power of God that He wielded (Luke 7:4-5).

In Acts 9, we learned about Tabitha, who was also known by her Greek name, Dorcas. A believer in Jesus, she'd supported widows by sewing them clothes and helping them in other ways. She passed away and those she'd helped would…

Jesus Didn’t Trust Them - Tuesday Praise & Pray (for others) November 25, 2025

When Jesus went to Jerusalem, He cleared the Temple courts of sellers whom He chided for turning the place into a marketplace (John 2:14-16). Ordinary people were impressed by His courage and watched Him perform signs and wonders. John 2:24-25 - But Jesus didn’t trust them, because he knew all about people. /No one needed to tell him about human nature, for he knew what was in each person’s heart (NLT).

Why didn't He trust these people? Weren't they the same ones who welcomed Him into Jerusalem with palm fronds and praises as He arrived on a donkey? The scriptures even tell us that they "believed in his name" (John 2:23). What was it that made them untrustworthy?

He knew their opinions were fickle and that their hearts did not yield to the One who gave Him the power to do what attracted their attention. The fact that He healed…

Are You Trustworthy? - Friday Praise & Pray (for others) November 21, 2025

Many of us think we are trustworthy. After all, we don't share the secrets we've been told. However, when it comes to the Lord, he sees the issue differently and it is important we see things from His perspective.

Abraham wanted one thing badly - a son. He had to reach 100 years old for Isaac to be born. And yet, without hesitation, Abraham went to sacrifice that same child when the Lord told him to.

Similarly, Hannah waited for years to have Samuel. But since she'd made a vow to relinquish that same child to God, she eventually dropped her baby off with the High Priest so Samuel could be raised to serve the Lord.

When Job lost everything, he didn't fight God or even hate Him. Instead, as his life crumbled before his eyes, he said, "...The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord…

Don't Be Unfruitful - Tuesday Praise & Pray (for others) November 18, 2025

A fruitful vineyard produces plenty of fruit for its owner, and that is what the Lord expects when He looks at us who believe in Him. He sent His Son to die for us, setting us free from death in hell. That freedom, plus God's Word in the Bible and the deposit of His Holy Spirit, means we have all we need to do greater works just as Jesus said believers would. We're equipped to be fruitful.

The Parable of the Fig Tree revealed that any tree in God's vineyard that fails to produce is at risk of being cut down. It reinforced that God won't even allow the soil a tree is planted in to be put to waste if that tree fails to bear fruit. The parable also highlighted another reason why we need to be grateful to Jesus as our intercessor, because He stands advocating for us…

Have You Been Fruitful? - Friday Praise & Pray (for others) November 14, 2025

Has it ever occurred to you that God is focused on profit like any wise business person? He wants His investments to be productive and thus fruitful and He expects to reap something good from them all.

In Luke 13, Jesus shared the Parable of the Fig Tree. In it, He pointed out that the owner of a farm looked at a fig tree, then complained to his caretaker because it had borne no fruit for three years in a row. He demanded that it be cut down so it stops using up the soil. The caretaker, however, pleaded, saying he'd fertilize the three and that if it remained barren in a year, then he'd get rid of it (Luke 13:6-9).

You and I are the fig trees the Vineyard Owner was inspecting. The Vineyard Owner in the story represents the Lord, and the Caretaker is Jesus. It is easy to…

14. Nov.

“The realities of life must not make us forget that we, believers, are the trees in God’s vineyard” This entire post is an eye opener. I don’t think I am producing good fruit. I don’t know how to bring souls to Christ. I also shut down after trying a lot . I have notice that it is hard to continue to talk to someone, or even greet them with a pleasantry when they have hurt me somehow. I go mute and no longer speak to them. When I see that a person is an enemy and not a collaborator of progress I go mute in a way. I will do the Good morning everyone but would not I greet them individually. I don’t know what discipleship looks like from my lens. I don’t knock on peoples doors to tell them about Jesus Christ, I don’t do street ministry. I do love the Lord, but am I fooling myself if I’m not doing what touches the Lord most? I don’t want to love in just words alone, but in action, but I also want to protect my heart at the same time because I love hard. Maybe I’m all over the place but I thank you for this post as I want to produce good fruit and I need to take to God how people have hurt me and still do his will to bring people to the fold because all have fallen short. Then was reading Hebrews 4 yesterday and was crying my eyes out because a lot of people are under the deceitfulness of sin and it’s important to hear God‘s word and to do his will so that we can be in his eternal rest. For the first time in a long time I started to pray for the people who have hurt me, who may be having a harden heart of unbelief creep in them, and maybe a simple hello and intentional greeting to these people inspite of what they have done to me might be the catalyst for change to creep in and for God to get the increase.

The I started reading how Christ is constantly interceding for us and saw that Christ who did not sin , was treated even harshly by the very people he came to save. This is part of the Christian walk and what it means to be part takers with Christ. The good and the extremely uncomfortable. The I started crying all over again, thinking about all that Christ suffered and thanking him for his sacrifice. Lord help me not to be concerned with how I look to people, I don’t want to feel like theses people are trying to punk me . Help me to lay all that aside and take the position and mindset of being on assignment and doing the will of the one who sent me . You placed me in this position, help me to do what thus says the Lord. Help me to regroup and come back bolder in doing the will of Christ than ever. Lord may the walls that I have been built up in my heart to protect me from rejection and just life circumstances crumble down like the walls of Jericho and be rebuilt with the power, assurance and confidence of the Holy Ghost. Help me to do your will, finish strong and get the privilege to enter into your eternal peace when it’s time.

Thank you sister for this post and for every post as it God breathed. As always I appreciate you and thank God in Heaven for you. .

Pray Not To Be Tempted - Tuesday Praise & Pray (for others) November 11, 2025

Temptation can be very tricky. What might entice one person may have no impact on another. Think about it. One Christian may be drawn to fornicate. Another may be pulled into anger, forgetting that Jesus warned that anger leads to judgment. That said, what all temptation has in common is that they are stepping stones toward sin

This is why Jesus taught the disciples the following in Luke 22:40 - There he told them, “Pray that you will not give in to temptation” (NLT). He knew that as human beings, avoiding temptation would be a tough task. He therefore gave us the solution. After all, when we ask God for His help, we invite Him into the situation. We also receive strategy and wisdom to circumvent what would cause temptation.

The Lord's Prayer states in Matthew 6:13 - And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one (NLT). Thus,…

If you have yet to give your life to Christ, don't let this moment go by without doing so. And if you've backslidden and are living as you like instead of how God wants you to, now is the time to recommit.

I want to encourage you to repent and return to the Lord, your Maker. Today is the day to choose to live by His word and submit to having Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Look, the video below will do a better job explaining things than I can, and it's only 8 minutes long. I'm sorry, there are no cliff notes. Please just watch. I promise you, it's worth it.

If you watched the video and said the prayer at the end, then welcome to being a child of God! You are now a born-again Christian! I pray you receive the Holy Spirit and are led in the ways of the Lord. Send me a message letting me know you said the prayer. I'll send you more materials so you can grow as a new creature, washed clean and restored.

Finally, please make prayer a regular part of your life. Prayer is simply you talking to the Lord. Also, please start reading the Bible and ask God to make it come alive for you. It holds all the answers you need. You can start by reading the Epistle of John, the Book of Acts, and the Book of Romans. Get water baptized as quickly as you can and ask God to lead you to a church of His choosing.

Congrats and God bless you!

The Lie That Heaven Is Beyond Reach - Friday Praise & Pray (for others) November 7, 2025

Do you know somebody who thinks they won't make it to heaven? Such a person might believe their sins are too many or too bad for God to forgive them. They are unaware of people like David and Paul, both murderers, whom God showed mercy and elevated to greatness. Instead, they've listened to satan's lies that they are too far gone for God to do anything for or with. They, therefore, choose to live in debauchery and sin.

It is easy to discount such individuals and think there is no redemption for them, but if God had applied that approach to humanity, He would never have sent Jesus to die for our sins. As such, it is imperative to see them as the Lord does, as people, made in His image, who deserve His grace and love. Here are a few specific things you, as a believer in Jesus Christ, could be doing for…
