In His Presence - Tuesday Praise & Pray (for others) April 24, 2026

When Jesus showed up, people came running. The woman with the issue braved custom to touch the hem of His garment to get healing. The Centurion ignored his rank to get help for his servant. Zacchaeus set aside his wealth and the fact that he was disliked to climb a sycamore tree so he could see Jesus. Jairus didn't care that he was a religious leader. When his daughter was sick, he went and got Jesus. Each of these individuals put their faith to work and did what was necessary to get into Christ's presence. And when they did, they reaped the reward. Their problem was miraculously solved.

How many of us Believers are doing everything possible to place ourselves in the presence of the Savior? Are we being intentional in spending time with Him and bringing our issues to Him? Do we approach Him in a 'fly by' manner, being stingy with our time and…

If you are yet to give your life to Christ, don't let this moment go by without doing so. And if you've backslidden and are living as you like instead of how God wants you to, now is the time to recommit.

It is time to repent and return to the Lord. It is time to commit yourself to living by His word and submit to having Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Look, the video below will do a better job explaining things than I can, and it's only 8 minutes long. Yup, there are no cliff notes, please just watch.

If you watched the video to the end and said the prayer at the end, then welcome to being a child of God! You are now a born-again Christian! I pray you receive the Holy Spirit and are led in the ways of the Lord. Send me a message letting me know you said the prayer. I'll send you more materials so you can grow as a new creature, washed clean and restored.

Regardless, please make prayer a regular part of your life. It is simply you talking to the Lord. Also, please start reading the Bible and ask God to make it come alive for you. It holds all the answers you need. You can start by reading the Epistle of John, the Book of Acts, and the Book of Romans. Get water baptized as quickly as you can and ask God to lead you to a church of His choosing.

Congrats and God bless you!

The Day Of Trouble - Friday Praise & Pray (for others) April 17, 2026

All over the Bible is mention of the day of trouble. Depending on the version or translation, you might also see a reference to the day of affliction, distress, doom, or evil. No matter the words used, the day in question is one most would prefer to avoid. Unfortunately, that day will come for everyone. It can be a moment or a period of great devastation for a person or a group. Nevertheless, one thing is certain. Although it will be a bad day for many, the children of God will be rescued and experience His grace and great help.

The Lord sent several prophets to the Israelites of old to beg them to turn from their sinful ways. Alas, the Northern Kingdom of Israel continued to serve false gods for 390 years while the Southern Kingdom also committed spiritual adultery for 90 years. The result was that the Assyrians carted…

Agree With God Not satan - Tuesday Praise & Pray (for others) April 14, 2026

The Bible tells us in Job 22:21 - “Agree with God, and be at peace; thereby good will come to you (ESV). Alas, a lot of Believers are failing to agree with God and wondering why their lives are far from the peace promised by Jesus in John 14:27. They are dealing with an absence of regular blessings, favor, and testimonies. This is not because they are in a testing, pruning, or waiting season, but because they don't realize that they are the source of their difficulties. They aren't agreeing with God's word regarding their families, finances, health, and other vital aspects of their existence. Instead, they are unknowingly co-signing on satan's desires for them.

You're probably thinking this message doesn't apply to you. But let me ask you a question. Have you ever said "I'm dying" to express yourself when excited? That might be common slang, and yes, technically, you are dying because each…

Who Enjoys God's Mercy? - Friday Praise & Pray (for others) April 10, 2026

The world has turned pretty cold, and mercy can seem like an abstract concept. This is because we don't often experience or witness mercy in our daily lives. And being unfamiliar, most don't show it to others. This leads many to overlook that God is merciful. Some think He only shows mercy to certain people, such as those who believe in Him or those who are perfect. However, Apostle Paul said something different about God's mercy upon him in 1 Timothy 1:13 - Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief.

It may seem counterintuitive, but yes, those who are ignorant of the Lord's ways and act in unbelief receive mercy for the very fact that they know no better. Imagine punishing a baby for doing something it had no idea was wrong. God…

Needs vs. Wants - Tuesday Praise & Pray (for others) April 7, 2026

God will address what you really need, not necessarily what you want. Read that sentence again, but slowly this time. Say it out loud and let it sink in because it is a truth many despise hearing, but it is a truth we all must learn to accept.

When the lame man at the gate called Beautiful arrived there, he planned to beg for money. He was unable to work and surely needed money to live. We may want to romanticize the old biblical days, but back then, as now, nothing was free. That man still needed money to make ends meet.

Yet, when Christ's disciples saw him at the Temple, they didn't reach into their money bag to help him. Instead, they did something very different. Peter asked the man to look at him and his fellow disciple, John. The lame man "gave them his attention, expecting to get…

Do You Look Like Him? - Friday Praise & Pray (for others) April 3, 2026

"So, why when you went out into the world last time, didn't nobody say you look like me [sic]?" These are the words the Lord said to someone, and she shared them in a testimony. Hearing that question hit me at my core and forced me to ask myself - I am God's daughter, but do I look like Him?

Before I could even think, the Lord pointed me to scripture. He reminded me of when Moses spent so much time in God's presence that his face glowed (Exodus 34:30). The people were so uncomfortable with his consecration that they ran from him, and he eventually had to wear a veil. Moses's experience begs the question - Are we spending enough time in the presence of God whereby His glory rubs off on us? Are we consistently reflecting our God when we go about our business each day?

The Bible instructs us…

In The Belly Of The Fish - Tuesday Praise & Pray (for others) March 31, 2026

How many of us remember the story of Jonah? I suspect a lot of those born into Christianity must have heard of it all the way back in Sunday School.

Looking at his experience, we see he intentionally disobeyed the Lord, and God raised a ruckus around him. The ship he was on almost descended into the depths of the sea. However, Jonah told his fellow passengers to throw him overboard because his God was responsible for their plight. Once they did, the sea calmed, and they believed in God (Jonah 1:12-15).

Despite his defiance, the Bible tells us in Jonah 1:17 - Now the Lord provided a huge fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. Praise God that the Lord did not abandon His prophet even while actively being rebellious. Instead, He placed him in a safe location…

Be An Acts 6:3 Person - Friday Praise & Pray (for others) March 27, 2026

Acts 6:3 - And so, brothers, select seven men who are well respected and are full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will give them this responsibility (NLT).

It can be easy to ignore, but these are some of the characteristics we must embody as Christians, as true disciples of Jesus Christ and His Father.

We must carry ourselves in a way that we are well respected. Respect doesn't come from how much money or influence we have but from how we behave. When we display godly character, people will respect us and be influenced to carry themselves similarly. This is not to say there won't be agitators, mockers, and scoffers. In fact, it is because you carry yourself as a true disciple that you will attract enemies. However, that is not a reason to compromise with God's instructions. Remember that Jesus put God's concerns first and was rewarded. We are to emulate Him…

Remember (the good) Ananias - Tuesday Praise & Praise (for others) March 24, 2026

Are you praying for souls to be saved? Are you praying that more people will come to know the Lord and His Son, Jesus? Praise God! If you are not, then no problem. Today is the very day that you can start. Remember that Jesus said the word needed to reach the ends of the earth (Matthew 28:18-20). Also, remember that we, believers, are charged with this assignment. Not just your pastor, not just that evangelist you've seen, but you and me.

As you begin to recognize this, also realize that as you pray for souls to come to the Lord, you will likely have to be an Ananias at some point. Are you familiar with his story? In the Book of Acts, the Lord sent him to find a Pharisee named Saul (Acts 9:11). When the Lord told him to go, he had some doubts. His logic kicked in, and…

No matter how blemished we are, Jesus died on the cross to erase every sin and wash us clean over and over again.

We take advantage of that great gift by acknowledging His sacrifice, proclaiming Him our Savior, and praying in His name for forgiveness of our sins

Now is your opportunity to do just that and get baptized in the Spirit (John 3:5).

So if your heart is open, plus if, as in Psalm 42:2, your soul thirsts for God and you want to appear in His presence, why don't you say the following prayer?

Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner and repent for my sins. And I believe that you are the Son of God. I believe that you came, you died, you rose again, and you paid the price for my sins. Today, I accept the new life, today, I accept the Holy Spirit. Come dwell in me, make Your home in me. I will never be the same again. In Jesus's Name, Amen.

Praise God and welcome to the household of the Lord. For you have to have Jesus in you in order to have God the Father (John 14:6).

Please let the Lord transform you. He loves you as you are and welcomes you just that way, but He will change you. I'd be doing you a disservice if I didn't let you know. My recommendation is that you let Him have His way and bow to the changes He will bring your way.
