First, I needed to spend some money on some new glasses. I went online to get a better deal and used a site I'd used in the past. I confess, I didn't want to spend the money at the time because I could think of other things to pump my funds into.
Anyway, the Lord kept telling me to get new glasses, so I knew I needed to obey. Well, it turned out the site was having some amazing Labor Day sales. Score! But then, I got an additional coupon that reduced my bill significantly. Score!
How about I mistakenly wrote the discount code wrong, but it worked, and I got a higher discount! I was able to get two pairs of spectacles for less than the price of one when all was said and done. I danced and thanked the Lord for His kindness. Then I prayed for the company to be blessed
But He wasn't done. I got an email from the site the next day, and they said they were upgrading the lenses on my new glasses to ensure the "best experience." All for free! All glory be to God! He told me to do something I really didn't want to do, but He rewarded my obedience, and I am so grateful.
Second, the other day, I was wondering how I was going to pay for something I hadn't budgeted for. All I could do was ask the Lord for help, and I heard that small voice say that I'd have money the next day.
I confess I was so busy the next day that it wasn't until late in the evening that things calmed down and I could relax. I then felt a nudge to check my account, and lo and behold - money I hadn't expected showed up!
Well, praise God for being God over everything. All glory be to God. He is faithful.
And third, God told me something recently. I confess I was having a bit of an attitude that day, but praise the Lord, He patiently spoke to me again. Anyway, let me simply say, He is the God who proves Himself over and over. Again, what I never expected was what He did for me. The very next day, money I didn't even know I needed was waiting to be used for something. I must publicly appreciate Him for His patience, His kindness, and His great faithfulness.
God, You and I know how the enemy tried to get in the way of me sharing these testimonies. I just want to thank You for being my God. My mighty Father. He who stands and contends with all who contend with me. You who show favor and grace. My Vindicator. My Acquitter. My Defender. I am forever grateful. Hallelujah!
I'd like to share a couple of testimonies.
